The Captain is Rich’s 2016 release consisting of 8 original songs, recorded at Reel Love Recording with Patrick Himes. These were tunes that Rich had been playing with local bands for a number of years, but never recorded them. The album features a number of great musicians from around the area.
​
The title of the album and first track comes from an affectionate (probably?) nickname as “The Captain of the Ship of No Fun”.
​
A follow up/sequel is planned for 2023*.
