BIO

Rich is a Dayton, Ohio based musician, songwriter and producer.

Born and raised in the Dayton, OH area, Rich got the bug to play rock ‘n’ roll early on. After a few years of piano lessons, he jettisoned the path of recitals and simplified classicals pieces for rock ‘n’ roll. Picking up the bass, ostensibly because the other guys had dibs on bass and drums, Rich began playing in original projects throughout high school and into college. These experiences provided a solid background of writing and shaping songs, as well as a lot of hours logged on stage.

After a hiatus from much in the way of band activity, Rich helped found a jam band, Nine False Suns. This band’s three year run led to other relationships and opportunities that included playing with Lost on Iddings, Such a Night (Last Waltz Tribute), Arrows of Neon, Great Northern String Band, Old News, Nicholas Johnson & The Same Old Strangers, as well as numerous other guest spots, fill-ins, jams, and recording sessions.

After a busy few years bouncing around between different things, Rich has turned his attention to more studio-based work. He’s recently begun recording and releasing his own material, as well as working on recordings for some friends.
