About the event

In a twist on the singer-songwriter show, Homeway Music and the Yellow Cab presents “Plus One Showcase”, a musical meeting of singer-songwriters and instrumentalists. There will be 3 sets of music from local singer-songwriters, and they’ll be accompanied by instrumentalists who will add a new dimension to the songs being played. It’s a mix of songcraft and improvisation to present versions of these songs in a new context and with a new sound.

Rachel Litteral - Rachel is a Yellow Springs singer-songwriter known for her commanding, bluesy voice. While she’s a talented interpreter of other’s materials, she’s also got a great catalog of original material that’s she’s recorded for an upcoming album.

Windsor Knotts - Windsor Knotts is a regionally known national treasure of a songwriter who has been plying his trade in the Dayton area for what seems like forever. Windsor is the keeper of the flame of the local singer-songwriter showcase, hosting the weekly musician’s showcase at Yellow Cab Tavern that provides a place for local artists to present their music to a listening audience.

Rich Reuter - Rich is a local singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer. Jack of all trades, master of some. Rich has written and released several albums (very slowly) and is on the cusp of finishing up work on “The Captain II”, the obviously named follow up to “The Captain”.

Mike Bisig - Mike is a talented multi-instrumentalist who owns an indoor bike park. A former music educator, Mike is fluent on a number of different woodwind and brass instruments, while still having the audacity to be awesome on guitar. He currently plays sax for Heather Redman & The Reputation and is a first call sax player for many other projects in town.
